the Internet (Wikipedia).
History
The concept of social bookmarking dates back to April 1996 when tList.com was launched.
Followed by web sites like Backflip, Blink, Clip2, Hotlink and Quiver .
The new era begins in 2005-2006.

The second wave Diigo, Netvouz, Ma.gnolia and Stumble Upon.
