This document discusses the development of infant incubators from research to socio-technopreneurship. It describes how the author started with R&D on infant incubators in 1995 and developed increasingly affordable designs, leading to mass production and free rentals of home incubators to help reduce infant mortality rates, especially in poorer areas of Indonesia. It outlines the expansion of the program to over 14 cities in multiple Indonesian provinces and islands by 2014 through partnerships with medical groups and the use of volunteer agents.
