* Visual way for students to see and help monitor
 their own behavior
* Can personalize with comments
* Balance positives and negatives
* Can monitor class as a whole
* Any and all age groups

* May distract from the class if constantly on your
  phone/Smartboard documenting behaviors
* If on a Smartboard, student confidentiality may
  be sacrificed
* Very easy to become distracted with for both
  teacher and students (back is turned while
  documenting)
* The quickness and easiness comes with general
  statements
* Can easily be an obsessive- “I did this, write it
  down” deal.
* Can hurt self-esteems if students are
  overlooked for certain things

* Clearly incorporates media and technology into the
 classroom
* Focuses learning through helping to monitor behavior
 (once documented, behavior is more noticeable)
  * Students can learn how the interaction affects others
  * Focus on learning content rather than constantly nagging
    students to stop this or behave better.
* Problem solving: program helps identify good and bad
 behavior, gravitate towards good behavior
* For teachers: helps with organization and so focus
 elsewhere on skill, content, teaching strategies, etc.
