Court Command Mares an MM National Highlight Tara Madgwick - Monday, 18 May 2009 The upcoming 2009 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale will feature some 17 mares that have been covered by Saturday’s Group Three BTC Sprint winner Court Command, who enjoyed excellent fertility in his first season at Wattle Brae Stud.Winner of the $1million Group Three STC Golden Rose as a three year-old, along with the Group Two AJC Stan Fox Stakes, Court Command(pictured)was retired to stud last spring covering 109 mares, but connections felt the horse deserved a chance to prove himself further on the track so he was returned to work and given to leading Brisbane trainer Liam Birchley.After scoring an impressive win in the Group Three BTC Sprint on Saturday, Court Command will have his shot at Group One glory in the BTC Doomben Ten Thousand this Saturday followed by a tilt at the Stradbroke.
