How Matching Gifts Work
(1) Employee makes a donation to a company approved
501(c)(3) using the YourCause platform

(2) Admin will pull report on a regular basis to see what
donations have been made by employees and
company will match donations

(3) Company writes a check and donations are
distributed through a batch process with Network For
Good to all the supported charities


Payroll Deduction Management

• Within their cause page, employees can
enroll in payroll deduction

• Employees select which charities, amount
to give and approve deduction transaction

• The company determines the frequency in
which donations settings can be edited
including: paycheck deduction, supported
charities and how often donations are vetted
to charities.

How Payroll Deduct Works:
(1) Employee enrolls through the tools on their cause page

(2) Employees select how much to be deducted and to which
charities

(3) Corporate admin will pull report on a determined basis to see
what payroll donations have been made by employees and
turn the report (data transfer) over to payroll to process these
deductions

(4) Company writes a check and donations are distributed through
a batch process with Network For Good to all the support
charities

(5) Payroll deduct donations are then included in fundraising
tracker on cause pages
