0 Think about a software which can’t connect to internet in any
way, you think what all things can happen. Oops I can’t think of it
0 Stand alone software's are becoming obsolete day by day, this is
also true that online software's are not going to replace stand
alones in near future. But with due course of time.
0 Most rigid segments like BFSI also started using online services.
Days are not far when developers will be developing stand alone
software’s that can also be used online
0 The main reason for this change is convenience factor

3. AaaS (Anything as a Service)
0 Days are not far when you will start seeing companies where
people will only host some software's and make money out of it
by selling out usage licenses. No need to hire anyone no need for
offices
0 With the help of cloud computing some of the services are
already in market. i.e. Software, Hardware /
Infrastructure, Platform, Process etc.
0 I can smell those days when we can hire run a company through
Cloud only (This can be far but not too far though).
0 The main reason for this change is cost factor

4. Laptop to tablets vs. Mobile
0 I would like to wake up one day where I can do my everything

like work to shopping to driving to washing everything which a
machine can do, done by one single device and if it’s small
enough like my mobile phone then nothing like it.
We are in a stage where we can clearly call out that desktop is
being already replaced by laptop.
Now that Laptop is slowly and steadily getting replaced by
tablets, mobiles, or molets (mobile + tablet) kind of products
Changes can be different but the reason behind all these changes
are all same. It’s smaller, lighter, superior technology, more
handy, better connected, easier to use
The main reason for this change is convenience factor

5. Online Shopping
0 Who doesn’t like a situation where I don’t have to go the
shopping malls or shops but instead goods can walk till my home
and I can save some money through discounts, vouchers, credit
card points etc.
0 It’s pretty evident that digital shopping is pressing hard
traditional ways
0 In upcoming years B2C market will be ruled by digital ways
0 The main reason for this change is convenience factor

6. Security & Biometric
0 Personally I will prefer to open my email account or bank
account with my thumb screen or retina scan than some big
password
0 Traditional encryption on the base of different algorithms is
popular at this point of time, but they are prone for cyber attacks
0 I think if we can introduce Biometric identity procedure and on
the spot input devices in day to day life, we will be more safer
0 It can be popular and the main reason behind this will be
security and only security of course.

7. Cheap Data & Costly Information
0 We all know that how much important these data can be which
we are missing every second. It can behavioral pattern, working
styles, choices, likes, dislikes. Actually it can be anything.
0 But even though these data can be collected not everyone can
utilize it. It takes different techniques to read out the information
from all these fragments of data.
0 Point I am trying to make here is even though data is seed it’s the
information seeker / recognizer which will decide the cost of a
set of data which can be called information
0 The reason for this change will be better usability and accuracy

8. Internet Bandwidth
0 Estimated one-third of the world's population is online now and
this is sure that it will grow. More users, more devices connected
to networks, more data-heavy services is going to cause a
“bandwidth deficiency”
0 Everything is going live, online. When each and every other
services will be available online and everyone will start using
them, the bandwidth providing companies going to be money
making machines.
0 Think about a situation when two third of the world’s population
will need bandwidth, what will happen then???
