1. Follow the menu path <System – User Profile – Own Data >. Or fill in the t-code
SU3 in the commando field and click <Enter>

On the Parameter tab, you can set
default values. For example, if
you only work for plant 3001.
• Parameter ID: WRK
• Parameter value: 3001
Examples of parameter ID’s:
• BUK: company code
• WRK: plant
• EKO: purchasing organization
• VKO: Sales organization
• LGN: Warehouse number
• LAG: Storage location
Click <Save> .

Go to a transaction of which
you know it has the field you
want to set as default. E.g.
XD01, create customer, to find
the field ‘Company Code’.
Position the cursor in the field.
Click <F1>.
Click on <Technical Information> .
If there is a field ‘Parameter ID’ - you
can default the value in the SU3. This is
not always the case.

Follow the menu path <SAP menu- Tools – Administration – User
Maintenance – SU10-Users>.
Or fill in the t-code SU10 in the commando field and click Enter

On the Parameter tab, you can set default values. For example, if you only
work for plant 3001.
• Parameter ID: WRK
• Parameter value: 3001
Click <Save> .
Fill in the Users you want to change. Click <Change> .2

3 Click on the <Arrow> to browse through the tabs. Click on the tab
<Parameters>.
Click <Yes>
In a last screen you
will see the logs.
Click <Back> to exit
the transaction.
