• You don’t have to know everything to be productive

3. DOWNSIDES TO DRUPAL
• Powerful = Complex
• Its a stack of stuff to know
• Programming skills may not always help you
• Not every problem is a Drupal Problem

4. ROLES IN DRUPAL SHOPS
• Designer/Graphics Builds wireframes and mockups.
Graphics to be used in the site. Needs to be Drupal
Aware.
• Themer- Builds the theme in drupal. Has heavy
knowledge of .CSS and HTML. May also know
some PHP for theming functions.

5. • Front
End Developer - Builds sites using mostly the
admin interface
• Developer - Builds Modules and custom
functionality using PHP/Theme Layer/Drupal API
• Project Manager / Customer account rep -
manages the tasks of completing the work and the
client interaction/expectations. Can be 2 different
roles
