Introduction to the Japanese Professors Associate Professor Hiroyuki Kuno Professor Tetsuo Kuramoto Professor Tetsuo Kuramoto (PhD) is teaching at Aichi University of Education, Graduate School of Practitioners in Education and PhD Research program of Saga National University. He is also an Executive Committee member of “The Japanese Society for Curriculum Studies” and “The Japanese Society for School Management”. His focus is on “School Management and Principal Leadership” from the view of the “Lesson Study” system which originated in Japan. This concept is so-called “Curriculum Management”. He has been actively leading School Management activities with Lesson Study projects in various schools, particularly in Western Japan. He has published books regarding the concepts above in Japanese, however, he will soon publish the book, “Lesson Study and Curriculum Management in Japan” in English.
