“Beatris”?
“Beatris was a
girl I saw in stolen

mirror, who kept
quiet at the dinner

decided to transfer

We know her as
Beatris, but the
Dauntless know her
for Tris? Tris
decided she would
change her name
because she wanted to
feel like a new
person but still have
a piece of her old
life. So, she made
the decision to
shorten her name to
Tris instead of
Beatris. Do fans
disagree, or agree?
Agree; Many people
are very happy that
she changed her name
to a way she felt
comfortable with. A

wanted to recreate
herself, Beatris
