1. Online Shopping
Online Shopping is directly buying goods and services from the seller using
the internet or to be more specific (web browser). With the help of online
store, people all over the world can buy things from every corner of the world
as you like and at the relatively cheaper price with equally good quality.
Online customers must have access to the Internet and a valid method of
payment in order to complete a transaction. They commonly use a credit
card or a PayPal account in order to make payments. However, some systems
enable users to create accounts and pay by alternative means, such as: Gift
cards, Debit cards and cheque.
Online shopping has many advantages such as:
1. Easy to Find: Finding a product online is much easier than looking for it
in the local store.
2. Products can be cheaper: Sometimes a product can be much cheaper in
another country than your country.
3. Save time and energy: You don't have to waste your time in going to
store and standing in queues.
4. Freedom of choice: Freedom of choice is very high in online than
shopping from a nearby store.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages for online shopping which
are:
1. Delay: Sometimes you can’t receive the product immediately.
2. Shipping Charge: shipping charge makes the price similar or more
expensive than your nearby local store.
3. Delivery Problem: Sometime you may face Delivery risk.
4. You cannot physically see the items you have chosen: You wouldn't like
to buy any clothing products because you won't be able to know
whether they are going to look good on you or not.

1. browsing through the online catalogue
2. adding items to the virtual basket
3. visiting a virtual checkout
4. choosing payment and delivery method
5. order confirmation
6. shipping confirmation (via email or sms)
