His Father spoke with a loud voice that sounded like thunder: ‘This is My Son, in whom I am
effectively pleased.' This baptism in water and in the Holy Spirit, followed by the public affirmation
of His identity and calling by His heavenly Father, prepared Jesus for the great challenge He was
about to face: getting without having meals for 40 days in the desert, exactly where He would be
tempted by satan, to give up His calling and pick an a lot easier way.
Each had been accepted by the ‘church' as gifted and above punishment mainly because of their
exceptional talent, noticed as getting ‘touched by god with creativity'. If they study to stick to God
just after resurrection, they also can reside forever in Paradise. My son saw Him so complete of the
glory that his hair looked white but it was really black†- he was six when he was caught up to
heaven when Jesus gave him a individual tour.
It was more Constantine's mother who was a Christian, but he finally called the council to come up
with a Christianity that all the various Christian sects could agree on since they kept fighting every
single other in the streets - burning every other alive, skinning them, all sorts of torture. Constantine
did not do all of that, but his move to make Christianity the official religion ultimately led to the
decision to make it compulsory, and then to remove all opposition. But Christianity has a significant
advantage more than a lot of other religious manifestations—it has the capacity to evolve. A single
of the earliest, attainable sources of facts about the historical Jesus is the Talmud.

In view of the profound influence exerted by a picture, especially on the minds of young individuals,
we need to perceive the peril involved in a portrayal for which there is no warrant, a portrayal which
is the creation of pure imagination. But due to the fact the materials for this medium of worship are
not derived from the only revelation we possess respecting Jesus, namely, Scripture, the worship is
constrained by a creation of the human mind that has no revelatory warrant. These veins, arteries,
muscle tissues, tendons, and nerves are all united to the Head, who is Jesus.
In the November 1948 challenge of The American Mercury, Devoe wrote that the portrait
inaccurately portrays Jesus as actorishly barbered a pale and posturing individual with immoderately
long, silky hair who clutched a kind of diaphanous drapery gracefully about him with an expression
of simpering vapidity.†He lamented that Sunday college teachers all over America had been
teaching tiny youngsters to hold the limp and clammy hand†of this sissified Jesus.
Engraved on a glass plate (referred to as a paten) which dates back to the 4th century A.D., Jesus is

discovered in Spain, the glass plate characteristics greenish hues and is in an great state of
preservation. In the glass paten, Jesus holds the Cross in a single hand — a symbol of the
resurrection — and the Holy Scriptures in the other.
The codex displaying what may be the face of Christ is not believed to have been opened yet. If
genuine, it appears clear that these books had been, in reality, designed by an early Messianic
Jewish sect, possibly closely allied to the early Christian church and that these pictures represent
Christ himself. The war and its aftermath helped differentiate Christianity as a religion distinct from
3. Judaism.
None of the gospels mention the destruction of the Jewish temple in 70 A.D. This is significant
simply because Jesus had prophesied its destruction when He stated, As for these items which you
are searching at, the days will come in which there will not be left one stone upon a different which
will not be torn down,†(Luke 21:six, see also Matt. Roro is ideal, the gospels were not written
hundreds of years later, but they have been undoubtedly written extended soon after the death of
Jesus. But there is, of course, the possibility that Jesus foresaw the destruction of Jerusalem. I invite
any of you to read From Jesus to Christianity†by Michael White, and then get back to me.
