Want to Know About BOTOX® Cosmetic
Botox cosmetic injections are undoubtedly one of the most
popular minimally invasive procedures to improve the
appearance of the face. It is the top selling prescription
treatment in the U.S. to temporarily improve both moderate
to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet
lines. This is evident from the 2013 annual report of the
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) which noted

of Botox® Cosmetic teamed up with SheSpeaks™, an
online community of women to address the most common
questions that women have about the treatment. More than
2,200 women who wanted to know more about Botox
cosmetic procedures participated in the study.

· The majority of the women (54 percent) wanted to
learn about how much BOTOX® Cosmetic costs.
According to leading surgeons, most women consider
Botox expensive, but they are unaware of what is
included in the cost, which in addition to the price of
the product, includes the skill and expertise of the
surgeon who administers the treatment.
· 18% of the women were concerned about whether
their face would not look natural after the treatment.
However, this should not be a matter of concern says
an expert. When the treatment is administered by a
trained and experienced healthcare professional, facial
appearance would improve, but not undergo any
radical changes or give the impression that “work was
done”.
· 36 percent of women were worried about the safety of
the cosmetic product. No procedures are without risks,
