Digitalization is the sixth Force shaping the current industries. For the past few dacades, IT has traditionally played a role in addressing the cost. However, with the adoption of new and emerging technologies, IT has moved from a traditional IT stack to a digital IT stack. A major component of this is digitalization of business models aimed at impacting the profitability of an organization. A few organizations have already started the journey of embracing Digitalization to create a competitive advantage. With this adoption, IT is forcing organizations to think about digitalization as a crucial factor in charting their corporate strategy.
