A typical domestic French breakfast will consist cups of coffee, often café au lait or hot chocolate regularly served in big bowls, accompanied by a glass of orange/ grapefruit juice. The main food consists of sweet products such as slices of baguette with butter, jam or chocolate paste. Croissants* , pains au chocolat (chocolate) and pains aux raisins(raisins) are also traditional. Other products such as breakfast cereals, fruit compote, fromage (cheese)Blanc and yogurt are becoming increasingly common as part of the meal.

dulce de leche- is a milk-based sauce. Found as both a syrup and a caramel candy
In Malaysia, breakfast sometimes consists of a popular Malay food called nasi lemak . Other food such as roti prata* , kaya toast, half boiled eggs and wonton noodles are also among the favorites. In the Malaysian's East Coast, glutinous rice is eaten as breakfast.
