Nieuw Voorjaar 2009 op de Zaanse Schans
In het voorjaar van 2009 gaan de deuren van het Verkade Paviljoen open.
Hier presenteert het Zaans Museum de rijke en zeer unieke Verkade collectie.
In de ambiance en sfeer van een fabriek uit de vroege 20e eeuw, kunnen
de bezoekers genieten van een prachtig beeldarchief, authentiek reclame­
drukwerk, originele verpakkingen, de beroemde Verkade albums en drie­
dimensionale objecten. De oude machines zijn volop in werking, en behalve
de sfeer, kan de bezoeker natuurlijk óók de heerlijke chocolade en koekjes
proeven.
Maar het is niet alléén nostalgie wat u aantreft in het nieuwe paviljoen; ook
media shows, games, tours en workshops maken deel uit van deze prachtige
tentoonstelling.

New Spring 2009 at the Zaanse Schans
Spring 2009 the Verkade Pavilion will open its doors. This is where the
Zaans Museum presents the rich and unique Verkade collection.
Within the ambiance and atmosphere of an early 20th century factory, the
visitors will enjoy the beautiful archive of images, authentic advertisement
posters, original packaging, the famous ‘Verkade Albums’ and 3D objects.
While the factory is in full production, the visitor will not only get a taste of the
historical atmosphere, they will also get to taste the delicious Verkade chocolate
and cookies.
But: it’s not only nostalgia at the Verkade Pavilion; media shows, tours, games
and workshops will play an important part of this beautiful exhibition too.
