Mama Anesa was a pioneering Kuwaiti journalist and children's television host born in 1935. She was educated in Kuwait and received further training in Egypt and London. In 1964, she began hosting the first children's television show in Kuwait and the Gulf region, producing popular programs that educated and entertained children. Throughout her career, Mama Anesa made great achievements in media and education. She retired in 1984 but had established herself as a beloved figure for generations of Kuwaiti children through her kind and engaging personality on television.
