2. Similarities One ghost whisperer episode there was a young girl who was murdered and she wanted revenge on her killer and wanted to see justice and wanted her family to stop worrying about this man being loose on the street and around the corner at any minute.
3. Differences Melinda (the main character) can see ghost and helps them “cross over” into the light. There’s no one to help Susie cross over and talk to her family to tell her family what she wants before she can cross over. On the ghost whisperer the ghosts come back to Earth if they have unfinished business and when they are content they go into the light and “cross over” so they can’t come back to Earth and forget everything they left behind. I wonder if Susie will “cross over”? Is it even possible in this book to “cross over”? Or will Susie always be able to come back to Earth?
4. Differences Most of the people in the ghost whisperer don’t realize their dead at first and don’t understand why other people can’t see them. But from the time Susie dies she can look down on Earth from heaven and watch what is going on while she stays in heaven and she some how knows immediately that she is dead. The dead people in the ghost whisperer also hold grudges on the people that killed them and try to get revenge on them by torturing them into a state of hallucination and insanity. However Susie is the complete opposite, she does not try to get revenge on Mr. Harvey by hurt him for hurting her.
5. Why I like The Ghost Whisperer I love mysteries and I love seeing the twists and turns the stories take. Its suspenseful at time and witty at others There are some really good actors and actresses playing secondary roles; such as Hilary Duff I like seeing how the people resolve their unfinished business
6. Why I like The Lovely Bones I like how in it is written in omniscient form so you are able to know everything and nothing is left un touched or un answered. I like the mystery of the book and not knowing how or when the case will finally be solved. I also like following how the Salmon family has changed dramatically after Susie’s death.
