    2. Starry, Starry night paint your palette blue and grey
    3. look out on a summer's day
    4. with eyes that know the darkness in my soul. Shadows on the hills,
    5. sketch the trees and the daffodils, catch the breeze and the winter chills
    6. in colors on the snowy linen land. And now I understand
    7. what you tried to say to me
    8. how you suffered for your sanity how you tried to set them free. They would not listen, they did not know how
    9. perhaps they'll listen now.
    10. Starry, starry night flaming flowers that brightly blaze
    11. swirling clouds in violet haze reflect in Vincent's eyes of China blue.
    12. Colors changing hue
    13. morning fields of amber grain
    14. weathered faces lined in pain
    15. are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand. And now I understand
    16. what you tried to say to me how you suffered for your sanity how you tried to set them free.
    17. perhaps they'll listen now. They would not listen, they did not know how
    18. For they could not love you
    19. but still your love was true and when no hope was left in sight on that starry starry night.
    20. You took your life as lovers often do; But I could have told you Vincent this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you.

    22. portraits hung in empty halls
    23. frameless heads on nameless walls
    24. with eyes that watch the world and can't forget. Like the stranger that you've met
    25. the ragged men in ragged clothes
    26. the silver thorn of bloddy rose lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.
    27. And now I think I know what you tried to say to me how you suffered for your sanity
    28. how you tried to set them free. They would not listen, they're not list'ning still...
    29. perhaps they never will.
