Evolution Of Weapons - Presentation Transcript

    1. Weapons in The Second World War In Second World War, soldiers used weapons like rifle, machine gun, submachine gun, hand-grenade. Also, it were important the fighter aircrafts such as, Messerschmitt Bf 109, the Supermarine Spitfire, the Yakovlev Yak-1 and the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk.
    2. Nuclear Weapons
      • From the moment Second World War ended, nuclear weapons have existed. For example, the attack from United States to Hiroshima.
      • Today, there are some countries with nuclear power, like USA, Russia and United Kingdom.
      • These weapons are not used so much because of their destructive power (it can destroy a city easily), fear of what it can cause, and United Nations decisions.
      • Some people think that if there will be a third world war, it would be a nuclear war. Hopefuly, it will never happen.
    3. Weapons In Video Games
      • We can see weapon and shooting games, from the first and second world war games (Call of Duty, Medal of Honor) to futuristic games (like Star Wars Battlefront). The most famous shooting game, Counter Strike, has great weapons, Ak-47, M4A1, Colt, Desert Eagle, IMI Galil, AWP, and more.
      • Also, there are games that recreate, not only wars, but human history (specially war) from the beggining of the times (Rise of Nations, Empire Earth), and you can see how weapons have been upgraded until now; and some games show how future weapons could be.
