6. Main growth factors
Economic boom. Past few years were growing
period for all business, PR was no exception.
PR market was small. Few years ago there was a
time, when demand exceeded supply.
EU projects, which required PR services.

7. Main problems
Because market is young, some companies do not
meet ethical requirements.
Some public sectors purchases are not fair, because
of high corruption level.
Because of young market (both from agencies and
client sides), some companies do not meet high
professional standarts, some services are very
amateur.

8. Future perspectives
It is clear, that during financial crisis some of the
smallest PR agencies will go bankrupt.
Those, who will survive, will provide more
qualified and cheaper services.
Internet communication will be more important,
soon there will be a boost of small on-line
consultancies.
Due to financial crisis public sector communication
will be more carefully organized.

9. Latest news
This month new media group called Big Idea
started to provide consolidated PR/advertising and
media planning services. This group includes 15
agencies and is the biggest media group in Baltic
states.
