Editor's Notes
Often companies invest a lot of money and time in purchasing and developing software solutions, yet neglect the most important key to success, training. Involve your trainer(s) early. Train your trainer(s). Trainers are often the best user advocate. If a user does not have the pre-requisites to using the tool, they are setup to fail;Getting user buy-in makes the road of training a smooth one.
so they are invested, their input is valued, they have ownership, they will want to see it succeedTrainer sees where improvements can be made to make it more user friendly, to make it behave like other applications
Keep it Simple & Specific !
Blended approach; what works for some people may not work for everyone
These tools require a “trainer” to learn them and have the time to create the resources for the users. It takes time to save time.
