16. New Rule Functions
Function Description
ApplicationName Returns the name of the application in which rules are running.
Determines if the cell contains cell text for the specified label and updates the cell text
ContainsCellTextWithLabel information.
CustomTop Returns the CustomTop member for the current or specified Account member.
DataUnitItem Returns the data unit item to process during consolidation, calculation, or translation.
DefaultParent Gets the default parent for the current Account member or a specified Account member.
Gets the cell text from the Point of View for the specified cell text label. CellTextLabel is either the
GetCellTextWithLabel default cell text label (“*Default+”) or one of the valid loaded cell text labels.
Returns a list of Custom dimension labels in an array. Returns two arrays, one with Custom short
GetCustomLabelArray names and one with Custom long names.
Gets an individual record to process for consolidation. This function is used when you have more
than four Custom dimensions. Returned is a two dimension array containing the dimension
GetItemExtDim information with dimension label in Dimension 1 and member name in Dimension 2.
Using dimension IDs, gets an individual record to process for consolidation. This function is used
when you have more than four Custom dimensions. Returned is a two dimension array containing
GetItemIDs2ExtDim the IDs for both the dimension and member.
Returns the total number of Custom dimensions defined for the application. For example, if you
create five Custom dimensions, delete one Custom dimension, and add two Custom dimensions,
the value returned for this function should be six, which is the total number of Custom dimensions
NumCustom defined for the application.
SetCellTextWithLabel Updates the cell text information for a specified POV and cell text label.
