  • 1. Rules for Bilingual Declamation Competition Declamation competition will be bilingual, that is, in Urdu and English. It is compulsion that if one team member picks a serious topic than the other member has to pick the humorous one. Duration of each declamation will be 3 to 5 minutes. First bell will be rung after 3 minutes and second after 5 minutes. On the second bell the speaker should leave therostrum immediately. Each University/College can send a maximum of 2 teams. There will be six prizes announced which are 1st, 2ndand 3rd for English Declamation, 1st,2nd and 3rd for Urdu Declamation . The evaluation criteria will be announced at the commencement of competition liableto judges’ decision. Paper Reading, copying & Consultation of notes is not allowed & will be tantamount towardsnegative marking. Marks will be deducted in case these limits are violated. Judges will have the full authority to disqualify any speaker. Disqualified person mustleave the rostrum immediately. Speaker can only discuss the fact but cannot give any comment against any specificperson/Government/National Institutes/Court of Law/Armed Forces. All the participants are bound to follow all the rules & regulations announced at thestart of the event.
