These lists are updated on the first day of every month.  To see them, first, go to the catalogue Lists of New Items Received
Type in your bar code and PIN number, because you'll be placing holds on the items you want.  (If you've forgotten your PIN, drop by the Inforrmation Desk and we'll remind you, or we'll create a new one for you).   Select "New Items Received"
The top half of the screen shows items from the previous month (e.g. September), grouped by item type.
Looking at the list of DVDs for the month, you'll notice that some of them are available on the shelf right now (e.g. item 2 above)  and others would have to be brought in from another Shortgrass library or put on hold for you to pick up later.  Just click on the "Place Hold" link if the item isn't currently available.       363 new DVD's became available in September 2010
Items on the hold shelves are arranged alphabetically by patrons' last names. When the item you've placed on hold becomes available, you'll receive an automated phone call, and then you'll have one week to pick it up.
