  • 1. Get Wise TriviaEVAN ALLAN AND TANNER PATEMAN
  • 2. What is a Quiz Night? A team based trivia game Players collaborate and play off each other to come up with answers Four kinds of questions: Verbal, Audio, Visual and Table Questions are not difficult! Trust us on this one! Points are tallied on a score board for all to see
  • 3. How does a Quiz Night work? Tickets are sold just like a social, with teams organizing themselves Teams consist of either 4-6 people or 6-8 people Teams are encouraged to pick a funny name, dress up or have a running theme for the night There are 2 rounds separated by an intermission followed by the finale Each round has 5 quizzes, with 7 questions in each The final quiz is usually a gamble
  • 4. How does a Quiz Night work? Each team receives an answer booklet where answers are recorded and then handed in to be marked Once all teams’ answers have been marked, the next quiz starts During the time spent marking and setting up the next quiz we encourage teams to get up, socialize and grab a drink or continue to work on the table or visual quizzes The intermission in between rounds serves to allow teams to take a break, play a fun side game or just enjoy a drink Points are totalled after the intermission and right before the finale to give teams a chance to gauge their progress Quizzes usually run about 2.5 to 3 hours
  • 5. What you need to host a Quiz Night Advertising and tickets is the hardest part All things Quiz related are supplied by Get Wise PA system and wireless mic for larger events Depending on the size, a volunteer to assist Tanner would be needed Prizes for the winning team and or losing team Occasional permit and alcohol/food Security if needed
  • 6. Rates Our rates exist on a sliding scale depending on the size of your event and whether there is alcohol or not For 5-9 teams  $200 with alcohol / $150 without For 10-19 teams  $300 with alcohol / $200 without For 20+ teams  $400 with alcohol / $300 without
  • 7. Why you should have a Quiz Night A unique alternative to having a social Great fundraising idea for small or large events Everyone loves a little friendly competition Our format is completely flexible and totally customizable Provides an opportunity for students to get to know those in their faculty Can provide an interesting networking opportunity
  • 8. What kinds of questions are asked? Just to be clear about the types of questions being asked, and your ability to answer them, we’ve put together a short sample quiz for you. There aren’t any answer booklets for these, but feel free to shout out the answers if you know them
