THE REACHABLE CONTACT MANAGER
1. It’s Private. The data in your Reachable Contact Manager is yours. Reachable does not own your
data. Unlike a CRM system, the data does not belong to your employer.
2. It’s Enriched. Your data is matched against our very large database of profiles and enriched with
profile information. You can add your own private rating of your contacts. Your contact manager is
no longer a dumb list.
3. It’s Networking-Enabled. Your contacts can now be leveraged in Reachable to discover how you
can connect to people and companies you want to reach through people you know and their
contacts.
4. It’s Portable. You can plug your Reachable Contact Manager into a collaboration group hosted by
Reachable for your current company today, unplug it at any time, and tomorrow plug it into another
collaboration groups at a future employer.

Why Contacts Ratings?
Rating your contacts helps you prioritize people in
your network. Reachable uses your ratings when it
figures out what’s the best path to a target.
Unlike other solutions, Reachable is privacy
conscious and does not track your
communications. Reachable does have
sophisticated algorithms that figure out who knows
who based on the people in your contact
managers. Reachable does come up with its won
ratings, which are represented with black stars.
But you can overwrite Reachable black stars with
your own gold stars. These ratings are private.

(c) 2014 Reachable, Inc., Proprietary and Confidential, Any distribution in any format to any person or entity is strictly prohibited.
In Reachable, you can enrich your Contacts with
a Contact Rating (a gold star) everywhere you
see a person’s name:
1. In your Contacts pages,
2. In Paths to a person or a company, and
3. In a Person snapshot on the left navigation bar of the
application.
To rate a contact:
1. Click on the star next to your contact (or in Paths
mouse over the picture to reveal the stars), and
2. Select the best value that indicates your
relationships strength to that contact. This will change
the color of the stars to gold from black or white.

Why Delete Contacts?
Reachable enables you to copy contacts from many contact
sources. We have algorithms to spot duplicates. But if you
see a duplicate or a very old contact or someone you just
want to delete, we give you a Delete option in Reachable.
How to Delete a Contact?
1. Click on Contacts from the top navigation bar
2. Select Edit from the sub navigation menu
3. Select the Checkbox next to the contact(s) you wish to
delete
4. Select Delete from the sub navigation menu
5. When you are done deleting your contacts, click Done
6. The next time you upload your contacts from that
source, the contact will continue to remain deleted.

Why Make a Contact Private?
Reachable will allow you to plug your Contact Manager into a
collaboration environment (see the TeamReach manual). If
you have personal contacts you wish to exclude from
TeamReach, you can make them Private. You can change
your mind and reverse the selection.
How to make a Contact Private?
1. Click on Contacts from the top navigation bar
2. Under the column labeled Private, click the – to toggle
the value to an image of a lock.
3. To get a quick view of all your private contacts, de-select
NOT PRIVATE under filters from the left
navigation bar. This will filter out only those contacts
which you’ve marked private.

The Reachable Contact Manager will get very
large as you copy thousands of contacts from
multiple sources. Reachable allows you to sort
columns by alphabetical order and search by
name, company or title.
1. Simply type in a name, company or title in the
Search box from the sub navigation menu.
2. The list of contacts will automatically filter based on
your search terms.
3. To remove the search filter, just simply delete your
text from the search text
