natural gas wells in Pennsylvania and is actively exploring drilling
opportunities in both shallow conventional formations as well as the more
prolific Marcellus Shale formation in Pennsylvania. To date, Phillips has
operated or participated in the drilling of more than 50 Marcellus Shale wells
(both vertical & horizontal).
Phillips has been operating in Western Pennsylvania for 35 years with the
roots of the Company stemming back to 1896. We have the resources and
relationships with landowners, suppliers, service providers and industry
