About
Emilio D'Alessio is an architect, town planner and sustainable development consultant. He graduated from the Florence School of Architecture in 1981 after studies in Italy and the USA.
He has been Deputy Mayor in the city of Ancona, Italy from 1997 to 2009.
In 1999 he was among the founders of the Italian Local Agenda 21 Association, a network of 400+ Italian Local Authorities devoted to sustainable development. He was president of the association from 2005 to 2009.
