Traditional working group discussions - Explanation on methodology,
constitution of the 3 groups
The following sessions will be presented in two parts: spontaneous presentation
of new initiatives and discussions on strengthening and replication of all
experiences discussed.
a) The session will start in group, with a Fish Bowl discussion on one or 2
new innovative experiences not yet discussed at the workshop; in each
group, one or two volunteers (per group) will come forward and present
their experience - The experience can relate to ICT use by young
agropreneurs and the development of ICT application for agriculture –
No PowerPoint (max 7 minutes per presentation, followed by
discussions)
b) Discussion on all experiences presented at the workshop
Two rounds of discussions are planned to take place on the initiatives,
with specific questions

Identification of 4 project/activities ideas – discussion on the
implementation of the project ideas retained and the performance
indicators
The objective of this session is to help CTA and its partners to determine the
conditions for the implementation and success of key projects supporting youth
ICT-based entrepreneurship in agriculture. Two project/programme ideas of CTA
will be discussed; two other project ideas identified by the participants/partners
present (and related to the theme of the conference) will also be discussed.

Traditional working group discussions - Explanation on methodology, constitution of the 3 groups The following sessions will be presented in two parts: spontaneous presentation of new initiatives and discussions on strengthening and replication of all experiences discussed. a) The session will start in group, with a Fish Bowl discussion on one or 2 new innovative experiences not yet discussed at the workshop; in each group, one or two volunteers (per group) will come forward and present their experience - The experience can relate to ICT use by young agropreneurs and the development of ICT application for agriculture – No PowerPoint (max 7 minutes per presentation, followed by discussions) b) Discussion on all experiences presented at the workshop Two rounds of discussions are planned to take place on the initiatives, with specific questions 12:00 - 13:00 How to adequately support ICT-based entrepreneurship in agriculture? Traditional working group discussions – What are the needs in terms of collaboration among ICT and Agriculture actors? Session 2 - First round of discussion on all the experiences presented • Which initiative can easily be replicated in your country/region? Why? (Instructions: Round table – Take at least 2 initiatives: one focused on the use of ICTs by young agropreneurs and the other on the support for developing ICT applications by youths) • • 15:00 - 16:00 How to favour their replication/adaptation? (Discussion on the selected initiative per group) How to address the key issues which are related? How to adequately support ICT-based entrepreneurship in agriculture? Traditional working group discussions – What are the needs in terms of collaboration among ICT and Agriculture actors? Session 3 – Second round of discussion on all the experiences presented Instructions: In this session, make general observations and recommendations, without focusing on one specific initiative. Two project/programme ideas of CTA will be discussed; two other project ideas identified by the participants/partners present (and related to the theme of the conference) will also be discussed.
