1. Planting a forest
My class went to work in a forest. It was very hard because it was very hot and there
were a lot of mosquitos. I mostly enjoyed gathering fallen branches. I was scared when a
maybug landed on my friend Richard’s arm. I am very scared from all kinds of bugs and
insects. Some of my classmates and our teacher planted new pine-trees. I planted seven
pine-trees. The boys from our class were putting birdhouses up in the trees. I liked it when
we could finally eat the sandwiches we had taken with us. Patricia had some very tasty
cookies with her. She gave me a couple of cookies.
I liked our class field trip to the forest very much.
