• The Play takes place inside a street restaurant in a small town
of Kansas. It is a night in early March, people get stuck in a
snow storm and blizzard weather with strong wind and flying
snow.

• Bus Stop is a comedy in 1950s. Therefore, the scence must create a
feeling of a warm and cozy place with the bright warm light
• The design follows 1950s style of costumes, furnitures, and the society
of the U.S in 1950s

• Besides, there are some small stuffs such as light bulb, restaurant
equipments like coffee percolator, dishes, glasses, both plate, sink,
and large plates of doghnuts, sweet rolls

Central Image is the difference between the warmness inside the restaurant and the
coldness outside the restaurant. It supports the theme of the play by stating that in
a hopeless and coldest place, there is also a place that can help people warm their
heart with love and their true feeling.
