The race will start and end in beautiful historic downtown Chappell Hill and each participant will receive a complimentary breakfast and T-shirt.<br />

Thanksgivings Day Parade!<br />Last Year’s Turnout<br />2008 - Thursday, November 27th<br />Though not quite as large as the one in New York, this one showcases the local music and artistic talents of our very own Chappell Hill School District!<br />Come out and help us judge the float decorating competition!<br />Date: Thursday, November 26, 2009<br />Event Description: Parade of floats, antique vehicles, and horse drawn carriages, with music provided by the Chappell Hill High School Marching Band, and dance performance by the Drill Team!<br />
  5. 5. The festival is coordinated by the Chappell Hill Arts Council. It will feature five stages:<br /><ul><li> Youth stage – Area devoted exclusively to children's activities
  6. 6. Bakers stage - interactive workshops and activities
  7. 7. Global Village - featuring food and arts from around the world
  8. 8. Festivals Stage - previewing the music of Texas’s biggest music festivals

  10. 10. Ingredients<br /><ul><li> Flaky Pie Dough
  11. 11. 4 large eggs
  12. 12. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  13. 13. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  14. 14. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  15. 15. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon</li></ul>Directions<br />Preheat oven to 375 degrees. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out remaining dough into an 11-inch round. fit dough into a 9-inch glass pie plate, pressing it into the edges. Trim to a 1-inch overhang all around. <br />In a large bowl, mix together both sugars, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Add pumpkin puree and stir well to combine. Whisk in remaining 3 eggs and cream. <br />Pour pumpkin mixture into prepared pie shell. Transfer to a 375 degree oven and bake until filling is just set, about 40 minutes. Let pie cool completely on a wire rack. Sprinkle pie with praline topping just before serving. <br />Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie?<br /><ul><li> 1 teaspoon ground ginger
