Acrostic poems are a great way to improve your child’s
vocabulary and exercise his or her cognitive skills. It is an
ideal past time for little children during the winter break as
it helps your children do something more than just watching
TV or playing computer games all day.

3. Festivals such as Christmas are good material to
create an interest in your child that in turn would
encourage them to write down their Christmas
experiences in the form of acrostic poems.

4. Put together material that your child could work. For example you could print
out sheet with Christmas or Santa written on them and encourage your kids to
get creative with each alphabets of each word.
