2. There are many people who believe that automated
translators will soon replace human translators as a new
way to translate their work and have it come out perfectly.
This is far from the case as the technology to do that simply
doesn’t exist yet. As I mentioned before, your experience
with an automated translator won’t have a person who
critically reads your work and ensures that it transfers
over properly. A computer doesn’t have the ability to read
work and understand it, but simply transfer the words that
it thinks fits into another language. This may sound good in
theory, but it greatly limits what a computer can do as
opposed to a human.
3.
4. There are many translators
available online, but if you were
to use them you wouldn’t get the
professional quality of work that
you are expecting. You can test
out a translator any time you
want and see how properly they
translate a phrase from one
language to another. Although it
may seem like it makes sense,
any professional can tell you
that is far from the case.
5. There are exceptions to the rule where you can
use an automated translator, but that is only for
a few words or phrases. In fact, most translators
aren’t even able to handle more than that at a
time. It just takes too much energy for an
automated translator to do complete documents.
6. When it comes down the two, it is all a
matter of what you need. For automated
translators you can get away with a few
phrases, and the Google translator has a lot
of work done to it to make more accurate
translators, but it still can’t compare to the
work of a human translator.
8. It usually only takes a few days for a dedicated translator
to complete your document, and by then you can expect
them to have everything perfected from the word usage
to the grammar. There is also the added benefit of being
able to communicate with the person who is working on
your paper. If you’re anything like the clients I have had
the pleasure of working with before, you definitely want to
make sure that a translator gets everything done right,
and an automated one won’t be able to give you specific
information or take in certain notes for certain parts of
the document, which can really make the translation
process more difficult.
9.
10. There is a lot of work that goes
into translation for different
languages. Even something as
simple as Spanish to English
translation can be a huge task
depending on what the document
may be, and it takes years for
someone to master a language
well enough for them to be able to
competently take your document
and move it to a different
language.
11. Don’t let something that you can’t trust have
complete control over your translation work. If
you do need something translated, the best thing
you can ever do is hire a professional language
translator to do it the only way it should be done,
the right way.
