Brain researchers have proven scientifically that it is possible to change our way of thinking. Dr. Einstein once said, “Common sense is actually nothing more than a deposit of prejudices laid down in the mind prior to the age of eighteen, every new idea one encounters in later years must combat this accretion of self evident concepts.” If there is any veracity to this statement, then we are in desperate need of some uncommon sense, or should I say spiritual sense. It could be said that the mind is the way the spirit of man uses the brain Mind) refers to the aspects of intellect and consciousness manifested as combinations of thought, perception, memory, emotion, will and imagination, including all of the brain's conscious and unconscious cognitive processes.
Mind
is often used to refer especially to the thought processes of reason. Subjectively, mind manifests itself as a stream of consciousness. Wikipedia It’s {mind} closely related to the basic attitude or stance in the heart. Rom 10:10, Proverbs 4:23, 23:7; Philippians 4:7’ 1 Peter 3:4 or the spirit of man I Corinthians 2:11, Hebrews 4:12. A renewed spirit will result in a renewed mind as we walk after the Spirit. A righteous mind demands to fulfill the righteous requirement “Walk in the spirit of Christ.” Which means: To set one’s mind or heart upon something. It speaks of the whole action of the affections and will as well as of the reason. A church needs to think spiritual thoughts. We need to get beyond the level of our own humanist list and enter into the thinking of the spirit. Where does the conflict come: The conflict is between the flesh and the spirit, not the spirit and the spirit. When two people have the mind of the spirit there is little conflict. Charles E.
