ACG's benchmarking study on Indian Bus Industry is divided into Product Detail – Technical & Features, Technology, TCO, Price, Product position, Product life cycle, Application, Sub segment, Bus cod, After sale- Warranty, Spare parts, AMC etc. ACG had developed own methodology to do this detailed in-depth study considering all important criteria.
We even went on to evaluate the branding strategy of all OEMs and its effect on customers. We found in our study that for every segment there should be specific add campaign to for each segment and sub segment. The details in this study allows OEMs to review their plans on how to make improvements or adapt specific best practices, usually with the aim of increasing aspects of performance.
In our methodology we have used primary and secondary data and draw conclusions. ACG considered for this study, 0 to 10 years old Bus from all segments and collected actual filed data for the same. In some categories there are more than 4 sub segments. Additionally we have included SWOT analysis for each brand and segment/sub segment.
