are overwhelmed by the massive amount of media being sent to you
and frustrated with the inefficiencies in your workflow and the system in
general.
Well, we want to build a useful software to assist you with that.
Melboss makes life easier by letting anyone with media access your
attention and feedback in a fair and equitable way.
YOU set the terms and rate for your time and attention.
Once you’ve completed your profile on Melboss send us an email and
we'll walk you through next steps.

helping artists of all kinds with feedback and exposure. You told us that
your time and attention are scarce and valuable.
So we let you enter into a fair exchange to give your full attention to any
media submitted to you.
You are free to set the terms and rate you are comfortable with.

Our community is designed to give artists constructive feedback in a
supportive way.
We ask our mentors to follow these guidelines when reviewing media
on Melboss:

3.Be constructive and fair

9. 1.Be honest
People have submitted media to you because they value your opinion.
Give your honest feedback, or quickly move on to a submission more
worthy of your time.

10. 2.Be helpful
One of the best ways to help is with specific suggestions on something
they can do to improve their work. If you feel their media is not for you,
feel free to use the feedback form to refer them to someone who may
be a better fit.

11. 3.Be constructive and fair
If you don't like a submission, you'll probably know right away. There's
nothing wrong with moving on quickly.
If you do stick around to collect the full fee, the submitter will be
expecting to know why you liked or disliked their media. The quality of
your feedback will be rated by the submitter.
Providing detailed, helpful feedback is the best way to ensure you
receive high ratings and lots of future submissions and referrals.

12. 4. Reward quality
There's nothing wrong with being selective or having a high bar – that's
part of what makes you great.
But when you do find something that's really great, feel free to share it
via your Twitter or Facebook account.
This is the highest compliment you can pay an artist.

13. HOW PAYMENTS WORK

14. Payments
You can earn credits (money) for your feedback and promotional
advice if you have set a rate for your attention.
Enter your PayPal in the Profile Settings of your Melboss account or
send us your bank information.
Your funds will be sent to your bank account or PayPal as soon as your
balance passes $50.

15. Cashing out my credits
Why do I have to wait until my balance Reaches $50?
This helps keeps our transaction costs manageable as an early-stage
company.
As we grow our system and business, we will look into automating your
payouts without you having to reach any threshold.

Mentors on Melboss can earn extra credits by inviting friends and
colleagues in the “Earn Credits” page.
We trust our users to make the right decisions for who to invite and how
to shape our community.
Share your referral link with your contacts and you'll get 5 credits for
every first order made by a friend you referred.
