Many people claim they don't have time to exercise, but they find time to watch TV, movies, play video games, etc... They don't lack time, they simply don't want to give up things they enjoy more than exercising. Combining things you enjoy with fitness is one of the easiest ways to get in shape. I've done it on several occasions in different scenarios, all of which brought very positive results.

Adding Fitness To Your Every Day Life How To Make Time For Exercise
1. Many people claim they don't have time to exercise, but they find time to watch TV, movies, play video games, etc... They don't lack time, they simply don't want to give up things they enjoy more than exercising. With a little planning and some creativity, you can combine your love for television with your fitness program. Your need to watch Football with your love for a six-pack and your obsession with Halo 3 with obsession to lose 5lbs. Combining things you enjoy with fitness is one of the easiest ways to get in shape. I've done it on several occasions in different scenarios, all of which brought very positive results. While watching TV, I used to do push ups, sit ups, squats, and lunges during commercial breaks. If I spent 3 hours watching television, I'd usually end up doing 5 or 6 sets of each. It's a great workout and it's always different, you never know how long the commercial breaks are going to last and you get rest between sets so you don't have to worry about tiring yourself out. I got in shape by using a stair stepper while playing sports games on my Playstation 2. The only time I allow myself to play sports games is when I was on my stair stepper, I burn up to 1000 calories a day instead of ingesting junk food while playing games. I used an exercise bike while playing video games. I don't recommend a treadmill as you can lose your balance and hurt yourself, an elliptical is also tough, but much safer than a treadmill.
2. The reason I chose sports games is because you don't have to think much while playing them, they're easy to play while getting your sweat on. Another way to work out while playing sports games is to give certain situations in a game an exercise value. If you get scored on, you have to do 50 pushups, if you get a home run hit against you, you have to run to the end of the block and Back, if you get intercepted, you have to do 200 jumping jacks, etc... Whatever the sport, give 5 or 6 situations an exercise value and prepare to sweat. You can also workout in intervals, every 5 minutes of game play,15 minutes at every intermission, 20 minutes between games, etc... It's really up to you, get creative and get in shape. The same thing can be done for sports programs. If you're watching sports, give situation an exercise value and workout during the game, or exercise during commercials, during intermissions, etc... I used to watch street soccer with a good friend of mine, and we painted a street soccer net on my karoke room wall and played indoor street soccer during intermissions. It was fun, a great workout, and it kept us from gorging on junk food.
