1. Mummifying your classmates!!!
In groups of 3 to 4, you are going to create an informational video on how to mummify a body.
You will be using iMovie to complete this task.
You need 3-4 personsin each group:
1 person - as the dead person
1 or 2 persons - as the mummification workers
1 person - as the priest
To complete the mummification process you will need to be creative and come up with
materials to represent:
The internal organs
The brain
The cloth that will be wrapped around the body
Natron
Canopic Jars
Mask of priest to represent Anubis
Some type of spells you will read for the final process
This iMovie should show the following process:
Preparation
Embalming
Dehydration of the organs with natron
Dehydration of the body with natron
Oiling process
Rapping in linen
Reading the spells for the dead by the priest
