Hello.
My name is Penny and today is my first day ofpeople school.
I am nervous. I am different. I am not like the other kids.
You see, I was raised by penguins.
No, really! It’s true. For the first 10 years of my life I livedin Antarctica with my penguin family.
Even though I love my humans, I miss my penguin family very much.I think about them all the time.
They taught me how to walk.
They taught me how to talk.
They taught me how to fish for the tastiest food.
But being raised by penguins, it isn’t always easy to fitin…
For example, I waddle because I never learned how to usemy knees properly. So I come in every race, last.
And even though I speak English perfectly fine,sometimes my penguin accent comes through.
Also, people make fun of what I eat.
So you can see why I’m a little nervous for myfirst day of school.
