At the end of long corridor of a dimly lit boarding school
GERTRUDE, a child, female
GERTRUDE
Oh, stop being so scared!
DOROTHY, a child, female
DOROTHY
I’m not too sure about this
DOROTHY removes her hands from the glass and looks at the
group.
DOROTHY
I really don’t think that this is a very good idea
BEATRICE, a child, female
BEATRICE
You don’t actually believe in this rubbish do you?
After reassurance from BEATRICE, DOROTHY returns her hands to
the glass. The glass suddenly moves across the board.
BEATRICE’S face drops and she gulps
GERTRUDE
What do you want from us?
The girls look at the board expectantly. After a moment of no
movement, she tries again.
GERTRUDE
Are you going to hurt us?
The glass jolts across the board onto the word Yes.
