1992 - 2006 Supervisor - Frank Beem Refrigeration, NY.
Frank Beem serviced the photoengraving industry since 1938. In field operations, I was responsible for
the use of chemicals in systems used by photoengravers. I supervised warehouse operations, handled
inventory computer logs and was the main contact for emergencies on a 24/7 call basis.
1988 - 1992 Assistant Supervisor - Frank Beem Refrigeration, NY.
I trained mechanics and reps in ASHRAE standards, photography, photoengraving and OSHA safety.
Bonded for $250K, I handled cash and took control of loss prevention. My job was to secure volatile
gases, inspect pressure lines, tags, lockouts, and write repair estimates.
1984 - 1988 Instructor - Photographic Emulsion Manufacture.
As faculty advisor at SUNY New Paltz, I wrote lesson plans and evaluated student teachers. After
graduation, I worked privately with engineers in formula development, and taught experimental liquid
emulsion, mirror imaging, and microdot technology at universities and on lecture circuits.
· My Master's Thesis used projected imagery to predict behavioral responses, and my work in
'Streak' Photography received international recognition. I am a featured artist in: The History of
Women in Photography, The Photography Annual, Woman Magazine, Tintypes and Miniatures,
and in the Lifestyles of Gannett Newspapers for tintype and microdot emulsions.
