Professor of Software Engineering at The Open University, having joined as a Lecturer in October 2006. Previously I was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London, where I was awarded a first class MEng in Information Systems Engineering in 1998 and a PhD in 2005. My research interests are in formal and semiformal techniques for the analysis and refinement of policies as well as software engineering aspects of policy-driven systems.
