ASSAN PORT İSKENDERUN
API was established in 2010
Assan Ports Corporation was established in 2010, as a Kibar Holding enterprise, in order to operate ports, terminals and related
activities.
Within this framework, as Kibar Holding’s first port investment in İskenderun, ASSAN PORT İSKENDERUN is planned to start service
towards the end of 2010. ASSAN PORT İSKENDERUN has the unique quality of being the first facility at the Gulf of İskenderun and the
third on the Turkish Mediterranean coastline which is particularly designed and constructed as an international container terminal.

ASSAN PORT İSKENDERUN
API has a natural potential / Railway Map
ASSAN PORT ISKENDERUN has a natural potential to serve for a huge hinterland includes Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Urfa, Diyarbakır,
Erzurum and for all other East and Southeast Anatolian cities, as well as the closest cities Adana, Gaziantep, Osmaniye and Hatay.
Additionally, it has strategic and geographic advantage to connect Northwest of Iran and Northern Iraq with European, North African and
American ports with a shorter route. Immediately after start up, ASSAN PORT ISKENDERUN will be the most feasable container terminal
for, at least half of the whole hinterland using other ports on the Turkish Mediterranean Coast. Especially, after the completion of
continuing national and international rehabilitation projects for existing road and railway network and the investments for brand new
connections, ASSAN PORT ISKENDERUN will become a critical junction where main trade routes meet and disperse.
