3. Independent handling of stores Inventory record keeping at project level, processing of purchase requisitions,
collecting quotations, preparation of comparative statements etc. Also knowledge of prices for general construction
works etc. Knowledge of site stores auditing.

• Physical checking with appropriate documents
• Issuing material to production units as per requirements
• Maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Maintenance of spares for machinery’s
• Maintenance of BIN Card and necessary records
• Maintaining co-ordination between purchases Dept.
• Checking with the purchase orders and bills
• Segregation of materials.

• Material Safety &Security – Safety measures like fire equipments, fencing and signage’s etc., and

• Looking after the Sub-Contractors Agencies Material Issues.
