1. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VILLAGE AT LEESBURG AND COBB VILLAGE 12 CINEMAS
INTRODUCE SPECIAL NEEDS SCREENING
Families with Special Needs Children Can Enjoy an Exclusive Screening of “Mirror Mirror”
LEESBURG, Va. (April 9, 2012) – Village at Leesburg and Cobb Village 12 Cinemas
announce a screening of “Mirror Mirror” exclusively for families with special needs children on
Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m.
This special screening will include elements that create a more comfortable environment for
special needs children, namely softer sound and brighter lights than regular movie screenings.
Children also are able to talk, walk around, dance and sing during the movie, without disturbing
others.
Cobb Village 12 Cinemas is the second theater in the Cobb family to host this special screening.
Cobb hopes to make this unique one-time event a monthly experience.
“The joy and fascination of people when they attend a movie is why we are in this business and
it’s a goal of ours to share this experience with every one we can,” said Siva Dasan, general
manager of Cobb Village 12 Cinemas. “I am amazed by the parents who take the time to teach
and create an environment for continued growth, for these remarkable children who can’t
imagine simple daily pleasures. This is a simple way to reach out to these families that are unable
to share these experiences with their children, in a safe, friendly and inviting environment.”
Tickets for the screening will be $9.00 for adults and $8.50 for children. For more information
and to obtain tickets, call (571) 291-9462 or visit cobbtheatres.com.
