Product Description
The Generac RTSN800G3 Guardian RTS 800-Amp Automatic Generator Transfer Switch allows you to safely
connect a generator to your home's electrical circuits and is permanently installed near your main circuit
breaker panel. Although the generator creates the power, the transfer switch is really the core of your
generator system. This electrical panel constantly monitors incoming utility power and determines when a true
power outage is occurring, switching from utility power to emergency generator power and back again when
utility power returns. The Generac RTSN800G3 is compatible with the 22-150kW line of 120/208-volt, 3ø
(3-phase) liquid-cooled generators. The control at the generator handles all the timing, sensing and exercising
functions. This switch features the electrically operated, mechanically held contacts for fast, positive
connections and has a 160-millisecond transfer time. This system also has a dual coil design and the main
contacts are resistant to welding and sticking. Housed in a rugged steel NEMA/UL Type 3R enclosure with
electrostatically applied and baked powder paint, this UL recognized device is designed for years of service.
This product has a 66-inch height, 36-inch width, 21-inch depth and weighs 469-pounds. The Generac
