Sensex gained1.40%@19,143.17 pts; Nifty gained 1.50%@5,784.25 pts.
European major indices CAC, FTSE & DAX were up from 0.76% to 1.63%.
Nasdaq was up with 039% while Dow Jones Ind. Avg. was up with 0.27%.
Sensex gained 265.21@19,143.17; Nifty gained 85.75pts@5,784.25. Today Indian
shares posted their biggest daily percentage gains this year on growing hopes the
central bank will cut interest rates later this month, which boosted rate-sensitive stocks
such as ICICI Bank up 2.96% and Tata Motors up 4.1%. Among gainers DLF up 3.2 %.
