I started working for Pickett Suite Hotels and Pickett Development Company while still in high school. I assisted the Commercial Real Estate Development Company with site selection, construction management, preparing development proformas, market analysis, and loan packages used to secure equity and debt financing. During my tenure, these companies developed, managed and operated over 2,000 hotel rooms and 1 million square feet of office product.
